The Aga Khan Foundation Tajikistan is announcing a tender on procurement of the required machinery and equipment.

Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Tajikistan has received funding from the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan Regional Integration Programme (PATRIP) Foundation for the implementation of the Strengthening Cross-border Opportunities in the Textile Value Chain – a project financed in partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation United Kingdom (AKF UK).

The Project’s overall objective is to contribute to the PATRIP Foundation’s vision: Promote economic and social integration and development within the region by encouraging legal cross-border and close-border cooperation and exchange. The project’s specific objective is to foster sustainable economic opportunities for households along the Afghan-Tajik border by establishing catalytic infrastructure and strengthening gender-inclusive export-oriented fiber value chains. One of the milestones of the project is the establishment of high-value dehairing and yarn spinning facility, and for this purpose AKF is announcing a tender on procurement of the required machinery and equipment.

  1. The Aga Khan Foundation Tajikistan invites interested parties to submit their sealed quotations – technical and financial separately for each LOT described below:

    1 LOT 1.   SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF MACHINARIES, EQUIPMENT AND NECESSITIES FOR DEHARING OF CASHGORA FIBER  

    Zanuthj village, Roshtkala District, Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast, Republic of Tajikistan

     

    2 LOT 2.  SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF MACHINARIES, EQUIPMENT AND NECESSITIES FOR SPINNING OF CASHGORA FIBER
    1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the procedures of the International Competitive Bidding and procurement policy of the Aga Khan Foundation and PATRIP Foundation, and is open for all qualified Bidders;
    2. Interested parties may obtain additional information and the entire package of tender documents from Dushanbe, Rudaki Avenue 137, Tojikmatlubot building, 4th floor or through a request submitted to the following e-mail address: qudratov@akdn.org with copying najmiddin.gulomiddinov@akdn.org;
    3. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelopes in English language to Dushanbe, Rudaki Avenue 137, Tojikmatlubot building, 4th floor or electronic version at https://cloud.patrip.org/nc/index.php/s/WjS8itnscd22WYP by July 02, 2020 at 16:00 Dushanbe time. The opening of the Technical Qualification Documents will be conducted on July 03, 2020 at 14:00 Dushanbe time. Subsequent to the evaluation of the technical qualification documents, the Employer will invite Bidders, who qualified technically to attend the opening of the financial bids and additionally will inform the date of opening financial envelopes (Financial Bid Documents).
    4. The tender package contains the detailed description of the procedure of submission of tender documents. The technical and financial packages must be provided in separate sealed envelopes. In case of providing electronic packages, the financial bid should be protected with a password. The password must not be disclosed until opening of the financial bid;
    5. Quotations received after the deadline (look paragraph 4) will be disqualified;
    6. The offers should include all information in accordance with the tender requirements (described in the tender package).
